How to Measure the Physiological Responses of Your Basketball Workout

leave a comment »

There are two types of physiological responses you will want to record from your basketball workouts. The first one is the actual intensity from your basketball workout while you are doing it and this can be measured using a heart-rate monitor. The second is to measure the stress response from your basketball workout by taking your waking heart rate the following morning once your body has had a chance to recover with an overnight sleep. Remember its important to measure your psychological responses as well as your physiological from your basketball workouts.

Try This: I recommend using a Free Basketball Training-Log to track your basketball workouts.
