How to Measure the Peak Height Velocity of a Biathlete Doing Biathlon

leave a comment »

You can measure the peak height velocity of a biathlete by taking the biathlete’s height measurement each month. By seeing how this changes over time, you will be able to identify when they hit their peak growth spurt. This is an indicator that their training needs to be adapted to accommodate their growth, and once the growth spurt is finished their body is ready for different types of training.

Try This: I recommend using a Free Biathlon Training-Log to track your biathlon workouts.
